CLAIRE L. TSE

Claire Tse is a master diversity management and leadership development instructor. She uses twenty years of corporate America experiences as the platform to bring life to consulting deliverables. Claire received her Behavioral Psychology degree from Barnard College, Columbia University. Her Masters of General Administration focuses on business outcomes using leadership principles with strategic planning.

Her workshops concentrate on linking the dynamics of diversity initiatives to business objectives. Elements of communication, conflict resolution, group efficiencies and diversity dynamics are included in all programs as part of the behavior modification process. Workshop designs are grounded in creating a respectful classroom environment while problem solving difficult situations. Participants are guided through learning objectives using small group activities.

Claire's clients range from Fortune 500 corporations to federal and state government agencies, as well as non-profit organizations nationwide. The prime objective of her presentations is to acknowledge the existence of personal biases and assumptions as the starting point. Once the stage is set, she works with all levels of employees through executives to discover strategies that will enhance workplace performance while recognizing personal biases that may hinder forward progress.

In addition to diversity, Claire collaborates with clients to discover leadership strategies using polarity management theories. By learning how leaders need to handle multiple, simultaneous demands put on them helps participants to find flexibility in thinking. She guides participants through the process of understanding the strength of free will and its impact on outcomes.

While an employee in corporate America, Claire was active in establishing and updating coaching, mentoring and career path processes for women and people of color. Her experience in leading a national task force operation and numerous domestic program rollouts contributes to her ability to handle program logistics. She is active in Chinese-American political projects in the metropolitan Washington, DC area.
